We were disappointed that we needed additional MotionPlus to play as a family. What happened to including two controllers with the consoles? Now, you have to buy additional remotes, nunchuks, MotionPlus, etc. in order to use the multiplayer function. It seems like Nintendo is tricking people into spending a lot of money to play the games.

This would have been a good game set to integrate with the Wii Fit.

Over all I was disappointed with the functionality of this game. If you purchase it thinking it will stimulate the players to get up and move around..think again. The only aspect of the game that offers any reasonable interactivity would be the sword play. And even that is somewhat limited.

Features like skydiving and the flight modes are useless. Just standing there and twisting the the controller is probably a great workout for your finger tips…but that is about it….a waste. Would have been a good idea to integrate the Wii Fit with these modules.

The basketball module has some promise as does the rowing. Here again, the rowing would have been interesting to integrate with the Fit.

I won’t even go into what a waste the water sports are. Couch-potatoes should find them entertaining.

I expected more from Nintendo. The game does not live up to it’s promotional videos. As it is, this game should have been given away free with the purchase of a Plus module. Or packaged with new Wii systems.

All in all I wish I had purchased this item at Costco so I could have returned it.

The motion plus doesnt really seem to make much of a difference. Compared to the original wii sports these games are mediocre. True that in the new bowling there is some additional spin you can put on the ball but overall they are just trying to make money from more accessories. Other games are ok. Nothing spectacular.

AKA: The kids don’t play it after the adults have paid for it.

My niece and nephew (6 and 9) were looking forward to this game. They are good at the Wii games and I have to practice to compete with them.

So I got two of these (Wii Resort game/motion plus) expecting the same fun we had with Wii Sports. Unfortunately, the games are not as fun and the new motion plus controller keeps requiring a sync in the middle of gameplay. This allows the other player to gain an advantage (both a friend or computer).

Smack in the middle of a swing or movement, the game demands you put the controller on a flat surface without movement for 5 – 20 seconds. Our living room does not have a convenient flat surface now because the Wii has forced us to remove tables in place of arm rotation space. So we have the floor to use when this alert comes up every minute or two. You attempt to sync while playing but that will often give a command that you do not want. The sync stops gameplay and everyone has to drop the controllers to the floor like some game of hot potato.

We found other players and friends have this same problem and are very frustrated.

Do not waste your money on this title, wait for other titles or get grand slam tennis. The kids are having more fun with that and it does not need to sync. Just keep the racquet in front of you after a swing and the results are better. Resort is not as intuitive with games like Table Tennis. I hate this title and that is not a word I use lightly – not only are the games boring but the usability is not ready for shipment. I hope they have an update or ship a better version out to early buyers of this title.

Save money, time, and frustration. Rent it or borrow it first and you will see that it’s not a game to keep in the collection.

This software has poor motion recognition capability.

Recognition — for some of the faster paced games — is fair but, after a few minutes of game play, recognition becomes extremely poor. Re-syncing or re-calibrating the controller helps a bit but it is not very useful. As a result, you are unable to play the games properly. The table-tennis title is especially defective.

Several friends are having the same problem with this software title.

It is first a waste of money and then a waste of time.
